Will the reference check results be visible to all parties involved?

No, the reference reports will only be seen by the organisation that is hiring.

Will I be able to check the status of the reference checks?

Yes, both the candidate and the organisation that hiring will be able to monitor the status of the reference checks on the platform.

Are the questionnaires customisable?

Yes, the questions in the questionnaires can be customised according to your organisational needs. robin also provides clients with a question bank containing a list of questions that are crafted based on HR driven frameworks.

Will I be able to choose the number of referees needed for the candidate?

Yes, you can choose up to a number of  8 referees.

Will I be able to customise the level of background screening based on the role?

Yes, the level of background screening is customisable. With robin, you will not only be able to get feedback from past employers and senior stakeholders who have worked with the candidate, but we can also help you meet compliance requirements (e.g. anti-money laundering, sanctions list, political exposures, adverse media coverage, etc.)

How long does it typically take for a reference check to be completed?

Will reminders be sent to the referees?

Yes, automated reminders are sent to the referees nominated to expedite the reference check process. They are sent in the form of SMS and emails.

Will it take very long to start a reference check process?

It will only take 20 seconds for the hiring organisation to kick off the process for a candidate.

Will it take very long for a referee to complete a reference check for the candidate?

It will only take around 3 to 5 minutes for a referee to complete their feedback on the candidate.
